Hear Bardo Hauntings and So Far Gone below: latest releases.

Northern Californian singer-songwriter Eric Anders and southern Californian guitarist-composer Mark O'Bitz have been working together since before Eric's 2003 debut release, Not At One, which, like most of Eric's seven solo releases from 2003-2017, is mostly made up of Anders/O'Bitz songs.

The two started releasing music as the Anders/O'Bitz duo in 2018 with Of All These Things. They followed that up with Ghosts to Ancestors in 2019.  Their 2020 album, American Bardo, was their first time working with producer Mike Butler and was listed in Popmatters' top Americana albums for 2020.

Eric and Mark are proud to have worked with Basque artist Joseba Elorza (Greenday) on their award-winning 2021 music video, "Searise."  American Bardo, "Searise," their four "music in the time of coronavirus" releases in 2020 and 2021, and their two 2022 releases--The Loss We've Won and So Far Gone--were all produced by Mike Butler of San Diego.

Mike Butler has also done remixes for six of the American Bardo songs for Bardo Hauntings I: Butler Remixes.  The other six remixes found on Bardo Hauntings II: Borth Remixes were done by the artist known as CHLLNGR, Steven Jess Borth IIBardo Hauntings was featured in YourEDM.com.

"I may have stumbled upon two hidden gems of Americana music. Mark O’Bitz and Eric Anders are two diamonds waiting to be discovered, and it's about time they get to shine their rays for the world to admire. Geniuses at work, the two have been making music for over two decades now and don’t plan on stopping for anything before becoming a global sensation."

- Saiid Zeidan, Medium.com

"Eric Anders is an obscure, independent singer-songwriter whose unaffected ability to turn a phrase and otherworldly knack for arranging transcendent, melancholy melodies would have made him a superstar, you know, if records still sold based on talent."
